We created this agave spirit to pay tribute to the rich agricultural heritage and expertise of the Jatt community. Our agave spirit is crafted using traditional techniques passed down through generations of agave spiriteros, just as the Jatt community has preserved its traditions over centuries.
As a third-generation retailer of spirits and third-generation farmers, we understand the importance of tradition, hard work, and quality. So, we’re excited to launch Don Jatt, an agave spirit that pays tribute to our family’s enduring legacy.

Tasting Notes

Aroma: a complex aroma with notes of smoky Cypress wood, earthy agave, hints of fruit or floral sweetness (jasmine, honeysuckle, orange blossom), and citrus peel.

Taste: The initial taste is slightly sweet and fruity, with flavors of white flowers (jasmine, honeysuckle, orange blossom), citrus peel, and cooked agave. Followed by a smoky, woody taste from the Cypress wood fermentation, with a slightly herbal finish.

Texture: The mouthfeel is smooth and slightly oily, with a moderate alcohol burn that fades quickly. It has a medium to full body with a slightly viscous texture.

The combination of Espadín agave, Cypress wood fermentation, and copper distillation produces an agave spirit with a unique and complex flavor profile, blending smoky and woody notes with fruity and vegetal flavors.
